1. The service
Pilot The Ecosystem (“we”, “us”) designs and builds custom business systems that
replace subscription software you currently use. Each project is delivered under one of our plans
— Starter, Business, or Custom — as described on the
pricing page. Every plan is a one-time build; we do not sell subscriptions.
2. Quotes & payment
- Every project starts with a scoped plan and a fixed, one-time quote. No work begins before you approve it.
- Prices shown on the website (“from” prices) are starting points; the final price depends on your requirements and is fixed in your quote.
- Payment terms (deposit, milestones, final payment) are set out in your quote.
- Once delivered, your system runs without any subscription to us. Your own hosting, domain, and any third-party costs remain yours.
3. Delivery
We aim to deliver a first version (V1) of your system within the timeframe stated for your plan
(typically around 21 days). Exact timing depends on your requirements, the number of tools being
replaced, and how quickly we receive what we need from you. Stated timelines are good-faith
estimates, not guarantees.
4. Ownership
- On final payment, the code we build for you and the data inside your system are yours.
- Your system is deployed on your own domain and hosting. You are free to modify, extend, or hand it to another developer.
- We retain the right to reuse general techniques, know-how, and non-client-specific components developed during a project.
5. Support & updates
- Starter: delivered as-is — no updates or ongoing support after delivery.
- Business: 24/7 support and updates for 1.5 months after delivery.
- Custom: full 24/7 support for 6 months after delivery.
- After your plan’s support window ends, fixes and new features are available as separately quoted work. Your system keeps running regardless.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your current tools, and timely access, content, and feedback during the build.
- Ensure you have the right to migrate any data you ask us to move.
- Use the delivered system lawfully.
7. Warranties & liability
We build carefully and stand behind our work during your support window. Beyond that, the system
is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim
related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to new
projects from its “last updated” date; your signed quote governs projects already underway.
